God does not make mistakes. We all exist for a purpose, a unique perspective. That does not mean we condone behavior or we should not protect ourselves; but the realization that nothing can affect us, without our permission, provides a higher freedom.
We perpetuate the negative we see when, to combat it, we mimic it.
