The last thing we want to hear during times of turmoil is, “everything happens for a reason.”
Why is that? It is offensive, and frustrating. But why?
Because why would we choose to have such horrible circumstances, or event/s?
To integrate the subconscious issues we cannot get beyond. The painful circumstances we face are to chip away the things which no longer work for us; yet, unable to face or recognize. Fear grows, and grows, until it is unmanageable, and we finally say, “ENOUGH!” It is unbearable to continue.
This is the point most of us reach before change and expansion.
Why? Let’s be honest, since when have we chosen to change what is wonderful or working for us… ha, never. Maybe, Buddha. But even Buddha had to create his own suffering to achieve spiritual progression.
Is it necessary to suffer in order to grow, exponentially or otherwise? No.
Are the gifts we hate there to push us to expand our consciousness (and therefore, joy in life/existence, instead of suffering/pain)? Yes, always.
Thank you gift I hate. I will continue to pretend I don’t want you. 😉
